Young people with diabetes receive a 'pocket guide' to ensure an optimal treatment.

Diabetes App

Nordsjællands Hospital, Herlev Hospital, Rigshospitalet, Steno Diabetes Center, and the Mobile Fitness team have jointly developed an app for adolescents with diabetes. For hospitals, the advantage of the app is that staff workflow is eased. They receive a tool that enables them to easily find information to the patients regarding disease, treatment, and logistics. It is also our hope that the application results in more young people showing up for appointments and therefore successfully treated. In the long term, it can lead to relatively lower treatment costs.

Pernille Castensøe-Seidenfaden, doctor and project manager at the Children and Youth ward:
"Mobile Identity and Mobile Fitness have demonstrated great professionalism throughout the entire project. The hallmark of their work is their great flexibility, short response time and their readiness for sparring when there has been a need for it. Mobile Fitness has provided excellent support throughout the process and contributed with important experience and ideas, particularly related to the development of the app."
